My charts did not change at all. **Looks innocent**

I have three sets of goals involving weight.

Short-term goals are small steps during this process, being 5 to 15 pounds apart. Next goal weight are goals to reach as I lose weight. They are 20 to 40 pounds apart. Sometimes they will be the same as the short-term goals. The final goal weight has not yet been determined. Right now I have more of a range.

I have lost 3 pounds this week, bringing me 5.2, and so I have reached my first short-term goal of 5 pounds. **Celebrate/Victory dance**

Next short-term goal: lose 10 pounds
Next goal weight: 250 pounds

My last post was in May. Now it is the end of August. As you might have guessed, my journey did not go so well. Who wants to write in and say they have failed? I gained weight, but I lost again, and now I am back where I started with the previous entry.

Today has been a good day though. From last week, I have lost 4 pounds. I have been eating healthy today. I just finished a 30 minute walk.

I have found help through a couple of new apps, which I will discuss at another time. For now, I am just giving a general update, and adding in my chart. (Note: The related link in this entry is LilySlim, the ticker/chart creator for my avatar and the one below.)

A New Journey

As many people know, the journey of weight loss includes starting over as many times as it takes. Each restart varies in degree of how serious it really is.

I have restarted again. I have no idea how many times I have done so. I have no idea if I will be successful this time.

I do know that I need to forget all previous journeys. I have gained weight since then, and that just saddens me. I need only to remember that I can be successful.

I have started May 4th. I weighed in on the 12th. I lost 2.2 pounds.


Now in my experience, the second week is harder. My goal is to track all my food. I have completely restarted this journal, deleting old entries and changing the name/appearance.

The journey begins.
